The Three Amigos Tuba Celebration

As a part of the special "Three Amigos Tuba Celebration Festival" honoring the lives and careers of three tuba legends, the University of South Alabama is proud to host the Finale Event, a Mass Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble Concert. Join us as we conclude the celebration to honor the three great performers and tuba pedagogues Daniel Perantoni, Jim Self and R. Winston Morris on Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the USA Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. Admission is free to the public.

Three Amigos Celebration Concerts at USA Laidlaw

Concert Performances

Experience three unforgettable recitals honoring each of the "Three Amigos" performed by their former students. All concerts will be performed in the Recital Hall at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center and admission is free to the public.

4:00 PM - Daniel Perantoni Celebration Recital
6:30 PM - Jim Self Celebration Recital

Saturday, May 23, 2026
4:00 PM - R. Winston Morris Celebration Recital

Sunday, May 24, 2026
11:00 AM - Mass Tuba Euphonium Ensemble Closing Concert

Admission to these Department of Music concerts is free and open to the public. Persons needing more information about these event or in need of special accommodation may call 251-460-7116 or 251-460-6136.
